It is a little unfair and too short to call Dominik Miller "Sting's guitarist". It is true, however, that men have worked together with great successes continuously for almost 30 years! However, the complete list of Dominik's collaborators is unusually long and includes names of this measure, including Phil Collins, Tina Turner, Youssou N'Dour, Chris Botti, Mariza, Peter Gabriel, Bryan Adams, Sheryl Crow, Rod Stewart, and Pat Metheny.

Dominic Miller was born in Buenos Aires, he is the son of an American and Irishwoman. He studied guitar at Berklee College in Boston and at the Guildhall School of Music in London. He has as many as 15 original albums and enjoys the fame of an outstanding session musician. Beginning at the end of the 1980s, he took part in recording about 200 discs of artists such as those mentioned earlier and, among others: The Chieftains, Manu Dibango, Paul Young, Luciano Pavarotti, The Pretenders, Boyzone, The Backstreet Boys.

He began working with Sting from the album "The Soul Cages" in 1991 and has been his regular collaborator since then, his right hand. He worked with him on all subsequent albums and played well over 1,000 concerts with him. Dominic Miller is a co-composer of the song "Shape of My Heart", one of Sting's greatest hits.

Since the mid-90s, Dominic Miller has also successfully continued his solo career. He has been cooperating with the prestigious ECM label for 5 years.

In 20119, he released his second album 'Absinthe', which he himself says is a tribute to French Impressionists: 'Living in the south of France, I am fascinated by the work of Impressionists. The vivid light, contrast of colors combined with strong alcohol and its effects must have driven some artists crazy ... The sky is green, the faces are blue, and the perspective distorted ... "

The recording featured outstanding artists: Santiago Arias on bandeon, Manu Katche on drums and Mike Lindup on keyboards and Nicholas Fiszman on bass.

While Miller's debut album in ECM, "Silent Light", emphasized the intimacy of the guitar sound, this time on the "Absinthe" Dominic Miller heads the quintet, which transfers his lyrical compositions into colorful musically songs.

Dominic Miller says about his latest album: "Many years of cooperation with Sting influenced my approach to music. I absorbed many of his ideas for arranging songs and telling stories. " The result was great compositions by Dominik, who always leaves space for improvisation of other instrumentalists, especially bandoneon. This characteristic instrument left a mark on all the music contained on the album. JazzTimes magazine described Dominik Miller as a guitarist who "extracts every note by feeding on breaks and the whispered effects of sliding fingers on the strings,"

The artist will perform at concerts in Poland composed of:

Dominic Miller - guitars
Rhani Krija - instr. drum
Nicolas Fiszman - bass
Jacob Karlzon - piano, keyboards
Santiago Arias - bandoneon
